Time to Get Festive
With less than ten days before Christmas, I thought it's time things got festive around here.
To get into the holiday mood, check out these great sites:
Blogger Jeff Barr took several photos of the amazing Gingerbread House exhibit at Seattle's City Center Mall. Wish I could see this exhibit in person. Some of the creations are almost gravity-defying.
What spells Christmas more than the reading of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens? Penguin Books is podcasting it in five installments, free of charge. It's a great way to introduce kids to a holiday classic. The downloads are available until the new year.
Last but not least, check out theredcup.com. Yeah, yeah, it's a Starbucks' site, but it's actually pretty cool. It's got holiday recipes, games, stories and even short films.
