RomeHBO's Rome is one of the two must-see shows on tv (Battlestar Galactica being the other)and it's back for a second season. This video clip is a recap of the first. In the second season, Julius Caesar has been assassinated and the future of Rome is uncertain. Although it has the requisite violence that makes the movie Gladiator look like a silly passion play, what really makes the show interesting are the characters' machinations to determine who rules the empire. Events unfold through the eyes of two former Roman soldiers, Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, who seem to have the knack for being in the middle of everything as they happen. If you're never seen Rome, you're in for a treat. Tags:
